A week in Bali gives you enough time to experience the island's diverse diving while also enjoying the culture, food, and relaxation. Here is our recommended itinerary.
Day 1 (arrival): Settle into your Canggu accommodation. If you arrive before noon, consider an afternoon Discover Scuba session in a pool or a sunset snorkel.
Day 2: Nusa Penida full day trip. Manta Point + Crystal Bay + Toyapakeh. Early departure (6am), return by 5pm. The highlight of most Bali dive trips.
Day 3: Rest day. Explore Canggu -- surf lesson, yoga class, cafe hopping, rice terrace walk. Your body needs surface time after deep Nusa Penida dives.
Day 4: Tulamben full day trip. USAT Liberty wreck (2-3 dives). Early departure (5am) for best morning light on the wreck.
Day 5: Amed/Padang Bai. Choose based on your interests: Amed for relaxed reef diving and macro, Padang Bai for Blue Lagoon beginners or Tanjung Jepun walls.
Day 6: Night dive at Tulamben or local site. Morning free for exploring, afternoon briefing, evening dive. Experience bioluminescence and nocturnal creatures.
Day 7: Departure day. If your flight is in the evening, a morning snorkel is safe (no depth pressure). Pack up and head to the airport.
Budget estimate: 7 days of diving (4 dive days + gear) approximately Rp 6.000.000-8.000.000 total. This covers all dive activities, equipment, transport, guides, and meals during dives.
