Canggu is Bali's surf and digital nomad capital, and while the waters off Canggu's beaches are not suitable for diving (low visibility, surf conditions), the town is an excellent base for day trips to all of Bali's major dive sites.
Nusa Penida (2 hours by road + boat) is the top destination for manta rays and mola mola. We drive to Sanur harbor and take a 45-minute fast boat to the island. Full day trip with 2-3 dives.
Tulamben (2.5 hours by road) is home to the famous USAT Liberty wreck. We depart at 5am to arrive for the best morning light. Full day trip with 2-3 dives including the wreck, coral garden, and drop off.
Amed (2 hours by road) offers pristine coral reefs at Jemeluk Bay and a Japanese WWII wreck. The calm conditions and diverse marine life make it suitable for all levels.
Padang Bai (1.5 hours by road) is the closest quality dive site to Canggu. Blue Lagoon is perfect for beginners, while Tanjung Jepun and The Jetty offer more advanced diving.
Menjangan Island (3.5 hours) is the furthest but arguably the most rewarding dive destination in Bali. Best done as a 2-3 day trip with overnight stays in Pemuteran.
All trips include free hotel pickup from your Canggu villa, all equipment, guide, lunch, and insurance. We handle everything -- you just need to show up.
