PADI Advanced Open Water
Advance your skills and dive deeper. 5 adventure dives including deep dive and underwater navigation. Certified to 30 meters.
About the PADI Advanced Course
Take your diving to the next level with the PADI Advanced Open Water course. Over two days, you will complete five adventure dives that expand your skills and confidence underwater. The course includes mandatory deep dive and underwater navigation dives, plus three elective adventures you can choose from: night dive, drift dive, wreck dive, peak performance buoyancy, and more. Upon completion, you are certified to dive to 30 meters and qualified for even more advanced PADI courses.
Bali's diverse dive sites make the Advanced course here particularly exciting. Your mandatory deep dive can be conducted at Tulamben, reaching the deeper sections of the USS Liberty wreck for the first time. Your navigation dive can take place at a site where the skill will actually be needed, rather than in a featureless training environment. And elective dives like the night dive show you a side of Bali's underwater world that most tourists never experience.

Advanced Course FAQs
What do I need before the Advanced course?
PADI Open Water certification (or equivalent). Minimum age 12. No minimum logged dives, but some recent diving experience is helpful.
How deep can I dive with Advanced certification?
30 meters maximum with Advanced certification. This opens up deeper sections of wreck dives and more dive sites worldwide.
Can I choose my adventure dives?
You choose 3 of the elective dives. The deep dive and navigation dive are mandatory. We recommend the night dive and wreck dive for Bali -- both are exceptional here.
Can I do the Advanced course right after Open Water?
Yes, this is very common. Many of our students complete Open Water on Days 1-3 and then continue directly to the Advanced course on Days 4-5. It is an efficient way to get both certifications during a Bali trip.
